Stadco Honored with Health and Safety Award

Magna International Inc. is pleased to announce that its recently acquired Stadco division, a body-in-white systems supplier, has received the top health and safety award at the National EEF/Aldermore Future Manufacturing Awards event held in London.

The award recognizes the manufacturer that has achieved the most impressive or innovative improvements in the health and safety culture of their workplace. This marks the second year the company has been successful as a regional winner in this category and progressed through to the national finals.

Stadco’s recognition was based on the roll-out of a multi-faceted health and safety initiative that is aligned to cost and team performance targets. In addition, the award recognized Stadco’s success in achieving and maintaining health and safety goals during a period of rapid growth when the company’s workforce doubled across multiple sites.

“Workplace safety is a high priority for us. This is why we have worked hard to adopt a more strategic approach, ensuring that health and safety is aligned with our company’s overall objectives and embedded in our culture,” said Simon Randall, Stadco Head of Environment (Health and Safety). “This award is a further endorsement of our team’s efforts and recognition of the hard work from every employee in our organization and we are delighted to have won.”
